Here isa picture of Andrew playing at Nana's
Well I still don't have this blogging figured out. I had a long paragraph wrote and I tried to upload a picture and somehow I lost everything I typed.
We got the playroom done in time for the party (well almost). Jim got all the muding and sanding done at about 11 am on Friday and the kids were supposed to start arriving at 2:45. So he put on 1 coat of primer on and we put all the toys back in. Hopefully we will get it done by the graduation party.
Tony's party went very well except for we had lots of food left over. I still can't believe my baby is 18. He can't wait to go to Lafayette this summer and work. I'm going to miss him.
Andrew still isn't walking. He is 13 months and getting heavier every day. He won't talk either all he does is point at everything. He must have been worn out from the party because he didn't wake up till 9:15 today, that's 13 1/2 hours. I'm going to save this then try again to post a picture of Andrew at Nana's.

I made it through the weekend. My husband came home from Kentucky on Sunday night from his golf outing. Yeah, I don't like being a single parent even if it was for only 4 days.
I finished peeling (or scraping the wall) off the wall paper. Now my husband gets to fill in all the holes with dry wall mud and sand, that should keep him very busy.
Jim started working on getting the pool ready for the summer yesterday. We have only had our house and pool for 1 1/2 years so last year when we opened it the water was crystal clear and didn't require much work (the previous owners closed it). We must not have closed it right last year because the water is pretty dirty and you can't see the bottom. I hope we (I mean Jim) can get it ready by next fridays 18 th birthday party.
I haven't figured out how to put pictures on so if I have any free time (ha-ha) this weekend I will have Jim show me.

My first try at blogging

I am very new at blogging, but I have been reading several peoples blogs and I decided I would give it a try. I have been very busy lately as my baby Andrew just turned 1 in April. I got that party completed and now I have to plan a party for my son Tony who is turning 18 in 13 days. Then I will be planning his high school graduation party in June.
My husband is out of town on a golf trip this weekend so when he gets home I will have plenty of things for his honey-do list. I decided that I wanted to paint 2 rooms in our house. The bathroom had no wallpaper YEAH only the chair rail had to come down (my house has a chair rail in every room, my goal is to get all of them down). Then I decided I wanted to convert the dining room into a playroom. Of course it had a chair rail which wasn't hard to take off, but it also has wallpaper half way up the wall. Now I'm not talking about nice looking wall paper, I'm talking about wall paper that is blue with ugly flowers that has probably been up since the 70s when the house was built. It has been 3 weeks and we have the wall paper off 2 1/2 walls. I hate wallpaper. That is the goal for this week.
